Open-air pools are the most popular way to spend time by the water in the warm season, and the largest category in the catalog: 44 venues across Uzbekistan. They differ noticeably in price, capacity and amenities — here's what to check before you go.
How much does entry cost in 2026
An adult ticket costs 35,000 to 300,000 UZS. The price depends less on the pool itself and more on the format: plain water access is cheaper, while a spot with a tapchan, a lounge area and a restaurant costs more. Children's entry is usually cheaper than adult. One distinct format is pools with free entry where you only pay to rent a tapchan or a table (for example, Malibu Sun Club in Tashkent) — often better value for a large group. Rates can differ between weekdays and weekends, so check the pool's own page.
What to check before choosing
- Season. Most open-air pools operate from May to September. The exception is 7 venues open year-round, six of them in Bukhara.
- Parking. Available at 31 of the 44 venues — check ahead if you're driving.
- On-site cafe or restaurant. Found at 17 pools — useful if you plan to spend the whole day there.
- Kids' zone. Present at 12 venues — important for families with children up to 7-8 years old.
- Loungers and tapchans. Marked at 11 pools; at some they're included in entry, at others charged separately.
Which regions to look in
Tashkent has the most open-air pools with 10 venues, followed by Samarkand (9), Bukhara and Tashkent Region (6 each), Kashkadarya (5), Karakalpakstan and Navoi (4 each). If you're willing to travel beyond your own city the choice widens considerably — the catalog has a separate page for each region.
When to book ahead
During the hot months from June to August, popular pools with a restaurant fill up on weekends. If you're going with a large group, it's worth calling ahead to confirm availability — especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
