Samarkand Region has nine open-air pools — second in the country after Tashkent. But they work differently from the capital's: almost all sit outside the city, and only one of the nine publishes its prices.
Almost everything is out of town
In Samarkand itself there is only one of the nine — the Summer Pool on Birdamlik street. The rest are spread across the region's districts: three in Jomboy (Eco Zarafshon, Greenpool Jomboy, Delfin), one each in Kattakurgan (Cosmos), Bulungur, Urgut and Samarkand district (Zvezda), plus one in Agalik (Oila Oromgohi). Parking is marked at eight of the nine — the format assumes you're arriving by car.
Prices and amenities
Pricing in the catalog is filled in only for the Summer Pool in Samarkand: 35,000 UZS for an adult and 30,000 for a teenager aged 12–18, with no time limit — one of the lowest open-air pool prices in the country. For the other eight venues you'll need to check by phone; numbers are on each pool's page. The most common amenities are loungers (five venues) and a bar (four); Eco Zarafshon and Cosmos have a restaurant, while a children's zone is marked only at Oila Oromgohi in Agalik, where the pool is 1–1.6 meters deep.
