Kashkadarya Region has five open-air pools: three in Karshi and two in Shahrisabz. All are seasonal. The main thing to know up front is that none of the five publishes prices, so a phone call before you travel is essential.
Karshi and Shahrisabz
Karshi has three venues: Euro Basseyn and Zebra Basseyn on Uchkun street, practically next door to each other, and Delfin Aquapark on Nasaf street. Shahrisabz has two: Aqualand in Shahrisabz district and the municipal pool at 98 Ipak Yuli street, next to the historic centre — a convenient stop for tourists visiting the Ak-Saray palace. The region's highest rating belongs to Aqualand at 4.8.
What's there and what isn't
- None of the five venues has pricing filled in — check by phone; numbers are on each pool's page.
- Parking is marked at three venues, loungers at two and a bar at one (Euro Basseyn).
- No venue has a children's zone marked. If you're travelling with children, look at the region's aquaparks — there are three.
- All five run in the warm season only. Three indoor pools remain in the region over winter.
