Where to look: Iyk-Ota and the other districts

Four of the ten sit next to each other in the Bektemir district, in the village of Iyk-Ota: Malibu Sun Club, Three Palms, Grace Garden and the ALEKS complex. It's the densest cluster of open-air pools in the city — if one is full, the next is right there. Two more are in Sergeli (Dos Hermanas by Alena, Astera Sea), two in Yashnabad (Paradise, Akapulko), and one each in Yakkasaray (Garden Park, the closest to the centre) and Mirzo-Ulugbek (Mohito).

Prices and how they're counted

• An adult ticket runs 50,000 to 240,000 UZS; pricing is filled in for 9 of the 10 venues.
• Many charge for time rather than entry: at Garden Park an hour costs 100,000 UZS, three hours 180,000 and a full day 240,000. At Paradise it's 50,000 for an hour and 130,000 for the day.
• Weekends cost more: Three Palms charges 120,000 on weekdays against 150,000 at weekends, Akapulko 150,000 against 180,000.
• Malibu Sun Club charges only for a tapchan or table rental, with free water access — often better value for a group than individual tickets.
• A child ticket is roughly half the adult price, starting at 40,000 UZS.
