Year-roundBukhara is the only region in the country where open-air pools stay open all year. All six venues are year-round, while everywhere else open-air pools close for the winter.
Why they don't close for winter
Formally these are open-air pools, but most operate at spa complexes and hotels where the water is heated and there's a steam room next door: a sauna is marked at four of the six venues, a jacuzzi at two, and a Turkish hammam at Wyndham Bukhara. Five pools are in Bukhara itself; the sixth is the sport school pool in Romitan.
What it costs
- Atlantis Pool on Ibrohim Muminov street — from 60,000 UZS per hour on weekdays, 80,000 at weekends. Passes are available: from 300,000 UZS for 5 visits to 700,000 for an unlimited month.
- Aquamarine Spa and Pool — 100,000 UZS per hour during the day and 120,000 in the evening; cheaper in a group of five or more at 85,000. The child rate is 50,000.
- Wyndham Bukhara — 200,000 UZS for a full day, 150,000 for the 7:00–12:00 morning session, and just 50,000 for a child ticket. It also runs aqua aerobics and children's groups.
- May Weather Resort — 50,000 UZS per person per hour, 35,000 for children under 14. The pool can be booked whole: from 500,000 UZS per hour on weekdays.
- Pricing is missing only for the sport school pool in Romitan.
