Tashkent has eleven indoor pools and all of them run year-round. But this isn't one format — it's two: six of the eleven are branches of the Born2swim swim school, where people come to learn rather than to swim on their own.

Swim school or open swimming

Born2swim is a chain of six branches across the city: two in Yakkasaray (Pro by Born2swim and Parisien) and one each in Mirobod, Shayhontohur, Yashnabad and Yunusabad. Five of them are small 7–8 meter teaching pools for coached lessons and baby swimming. The exception is Pro by Born2swim with its 50-meter pool. The other five venues in the category operate normally: the Water Sports Palace in Yunusabad, MVES Inter Sport and Academy Athletica in Mirzo-Ulugbek, and Dubai Spa and Magic Galaxy in Chilanzar.

Prices span almost sixfold

The cheapest is the Water Sports Palace — 120,000 UZS for a single visit and 1,000,000 for a monthly pass.
Magic Galaxy — 200,000 UZS for two hours, with a sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and children's zone.
Dubai Spa — 250,000 UZS for an adult and 150,000 for a child; a 20-meter pool, Russian banya, hammam and massage.
Academy Athletica — 700,000 UZS for a single visit and 2,800,000 per month: the most expensive indoor pool in the catalog.
At Born2swim you pay per lesson: a children's lesson is 150,000 UZS, a 4-lesson package 500,000 and an 8-lesson one 830,000. The adult Pro program is 1,500,000 UZS.
