Indoor Pools in Samarkand

Open year-round5 venues

Samarkand Region has five indoor pools, and nearly all of them are a spa format: four of the five have a sauna, hammam or banya. That sets the region sharply apart from Karakalpakstan, where indoor pools are sport venues and not one has such amenities.

The spa cluster on Lochin street

Two venues sit almost next door on Lochin street in Samarkand: Luxe at number 33b — Turkish hammam, Russian banya, sauna, massage and karaoke — and Spa & Sauna Komfort at number 21, with a spa area, sauna, hammam and jacuzzi. The third spa venue, Aqua Spa on 3rd Barkaror street, is the best equipped: a 20-meter pool, a coach, hammam, sauna, massage, restaurant and bar. The other two are a different format: the Born2swim swim school branch on Amir Temur street and the Vavilon aquapark on Navobod street, which runs year-round.

Prices

The three spa venues — Luxe, Spa & Sauna Komfort and Aqua Spa — have no pricing in the catalog, so you'll need to call. Only two price lists are known. Born2swim in Samarkand is cheaper than the same chain's Tashkent branches: a 4-lesson children's package costs 450,000 UZS against 500,000 in Tashkent, and an 8-lesson one 690,000 against 830,000. At the Vavilon aquapark the ticket depends on age and day of the week: 65,000–150,000 UZS for children under 10 and 125,000–300,000 for visitors over 10.
